Res. 63 -- Disapproving of the decision of the President announced on January 10, 2007, to deploy more than 20,000 additional combat troops to Iraq: Today the House will continue with general debate on H. Con. Res. 63. Debate will be managed by Armed Services Committee Chair Ike Skelton and Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Tom Lantos or their designees. Each Member will have an opportunity to speak for five minutes on the resolution. Debate on the resolution today will end when there are no additional member requests for time, but will not go past midnight. Read more

The rule provides for the following general debate in the House: 1) not beyond midnight on Tuesday, February 13, 2007; 2) not beyond midnight on Wednesday, February 14, 2007; and 3) 12 hours beginning on Thursday, February 15, 2007.
